This is a large-scale, mixed-media metal wall sculpture depicting a dramatic Native American procession scene complete with riders on horseback, walking figures, and sweeping mesa or canyon formations along the top register. The piece is constructed on a welded wire armature framework and features individually cut and painted metal figures rendered in a style reminiscent of ledger art or mid-century Southwestern folk art, with riders dressed in red, teal, yellow, and orange garments set against cream and black painted horses. The canyon or mesa backdrop panels are finished in a heavily textured gold-ochre tone with swirling brush marks suggesting an arid landscape, and a small canoe or travois element with a blue-green bundle is tucked among the figures at center. Measuring approximately 55 inches wide and over 23 inches tall based on the tape measure visible in the photos, the sculpture shows honest age-related wear including paint crazing, chipping, and weathering consistent with outdoor or long-term display use, and the back reveals the unpainted white primer structure of the armature. A statement piece with undeniable presence and serious Western Americana soul.
