Crafted in a rich, vibrant avocado/olive green glass, the lidded urn features a sharp diamond-cut pattern along the bowl and lid, topped off by a sharp pointed geometric finial. Adding an extra layer of theatrical vintage glamour, the collar beneath the dish is embellished with suspended, faceted green glass teardrop crystal prisms that catch and refract the light beautifully.

The glass dish sits atop an ornate, Rococo-style cast gilt brass-plated pedestal, which is anchored to a heavy, solid white Italian marble square base. The underside of the base retains its original foil label reading "Fine Marble Base - Made In Italy". This substantial, multi-material piece perfectly encapsulates the lavish Italian decorative export style of the late 1960s and 1970s.
