This is a stunning 2008 limited edition Maker's Mark Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whisky commemorative bottle honoring Joe B. Hall, the legendary University of Kentucky Wildcats head coach from 1972 to 1985, numbered 12740 out of only 18000 produced. The bottle is dipped in signature UK royal blue wax replacing the iconic red, adorned with a white satin ribbon printed with the UK interlocking logo, and features a front label showcasing Hall's photo and facsimile signature against the bold UK athletic mark. The back label tells Hall's remarkable story, noting he is one of only three men to both play on and coach an NCAA championship team at UK, and this bottle is dedicated to the memory of his beloved wife Kathryn, who passed from cancer in 2007. Part of a three-bottle series produced in partnership with the Keeneland Association and the Markey Cancer Foundation to raise 3 million dollars for cancer research, this 1.0 liter bottle at 45% alc/vol is a crown jewel for any Big Blue Nation collector, with some cracking to the wax top cap but otherwise displaying beautifully.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
