This stunning trumpet-form vase is a 1979 Lenox China reproduction of a circa 1725 Meissen original held in the Smithsonian Institution's permanent collection, making it as close to museum ownership as your living room will ever get. The crisp white porcelain body is alive with a breathtaking Chinoiserie tableau of exotic birds in mid-flight, long-necked cranes strutting their stuff, and lush blossoms in a riot of burnt orange, teal, violet, and crimson. A refined gold band circles the base, lending just enough gilded elegance to remind you this piece means serious business. The backstamp confirms the Smithsonian Institution copyright, the Lenox China Inc. mark, and Made in USA provenance, leaving zero doubt about authenticity and collectible pedigree.
