Description

This magnificent table lamp features a tall ginger jar-style porcelain body glazed in creamy ivory white, adorned with raised slip-trailed floral and scrollwork decoration that gives it a lush, almost sculptural texture. A delicate gold accent band separates the body from the domed ceramic finial top, and the whole piece rests on an ornate cast brass footed base decorated with Greek key and acanthus scroll motifs. The lamp hardware includes a vintage-style brass harp and keyless socket, and it comes dressed in a large bell-shaped fabric shade in off-white with welted seam detailing. Whether lit or unlit, this lamp commands a room with its traditional chinoiserie-inspired style and substantial presence.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
