Description

This stunning vintage hurricane-style electric table lamp is the kind of piece that stops guests dead in their tracks and demands a compliment. The lamp features a classic oil lamp silhouette with a domed milk glass shade and matching cylindrical milk glass font body, both hand-painted with delicate pink roses and green leaves throughout. A brass-toned metal gallery with decorative pierced honeycomb detailing, curved arm supports, and a beaded round base give this lamp serious vintage credibility, while a clear glass chimney tops the whole affair for authentic period drama. The bottom reveals original wiring with a knob-style switch and a cloth-covered cord, suggesting mid-20th century American manufacture in the beloved GWTW or Gone-With-The-Wind lamp tradition.
