Description

*ITEM IS LOCATED DOWNSTAIRS IN BASEMENT*

Here is a genuine time capsule straight from the Space Age, a compact mid-century modern writing desk featuring a handsome walnut-grain laminate top with beautifully rounded corners and a two-tone cream speckled body that screams 1960s optimism. The pedestal drawer unit houses two generously sized drawers dressed in matching walnut-grain laminate fronts with distinctive square brass-toned pulls, while the desk rides on four elegantly tapered conical legs finished in that signature cream speckle with brass ferrule feet. Construction is solid hardboard and particleboard with a factory-applied textured finish throughout, drawers slide freely and the overall structure is sturdy with age-appropriate cosmetic wear including some edge roughness on drawer corners. This is the kind of desk that once held report cards, transistor radio manuals, and maybe a secret diary, and it is ready to hold your laptop and bring some seriously authentic retro flair to your home office or studio.
