Description
Liberty Blue Ironstone by Staffordshire England - A standout collection of blue and white ironstone featuring iconic American colonial scenes including Washington Crossing the Delaware and Independence Hall. Pieces include a large oval serving platter, dinner plates, salad plates, soup bowls, and cups, all bearing the classic Liberty Blue backstamp. Made in England from original copper engravings, these are dishwasher-safe and built to last as well as display.
Grindley England Scenes After Constable Plates - Two cream-bodied plates in classic blue transferware style depicting pastoral English countryside scenes, including the famous Hay-Wain composition after John Constable. The larger dinner plate and smaller salad plate both carry the Grindley England backstamp with the notation Scenes After Constable. The creamy off-white ground gives these an older, more antique feel than bright white ironstone.
Blue Willow Pattern Dinnerware - Classic Blue Willow pieces including a large dinner plate, a saucer, and a teacup featuring the beloved pagoda, bridge, and willow tree design. The backstamp references Churchill brand production. A timeless pattern with centuries of tradition that never goes out of style.
Johnson Brothers Friendly Village Pattern Plates and Bowls - Colorful multicolor transferware from Johnson Brothers featuring the beloved Friendly Village pattern with winter rural American scenes including a snow-covered red barn and a covered bridge. Pieces include dinner plates and soup bowls all bearing the Johnson Brothers England backstamp. Rich greens, reds, and blacks make these a festive addition to any table.
Old Curiosity Shop Green Transferware Plates - Made in the USA with underglaze printing, these green transferware dinner plates feature a Dickensian Old Curiosity Shop scene in rich forest green. The backstamp reads The Old Curiosity Shop Underglaze Made in USA. A charming nod to literary history in a durable American-made format.
Blue Willow Ginger Jar and Miscellaneous Blue Pieces - A small antique-style blue willow ginger jar with lid along with assorted blue and white transferware accent pieces. The ginger jar shows age-appropriate wear consistent with vintage use. A lovely accent piece for display alongside any transferware collection.
