Description

These four matching high-back dining chairs command attention with their spectacular Gothic-inspired trefoil lattice splats, flanked by turned spindle side posts crowned with elegant flame finials. The frames are finished in a deep burgundy-oxblood paint that was clearly applied as a deliberate refinishing choice, giving the set a bold and unified look that pops against any dining room. Each chair features a woven rush seat in the traditional herringbone pattern, with the seats showing varying degrees of honest wear including some splitting and fraying on two of the chairs, while the other two present in considerably better condition. The turned legs are connected by decorative bobbin-style stretchers and feature slightly splayed rear legs for stability, with the undercarriage construction revealing solid joinery and what appears to be corner block reinforcement beneath the rush.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
