Description
A beautifully preserved example of one of America’s most respected rimfire pumps, this Remington Fieldmaster Model 572 blends smooth performance with classic sporting style.
Marked “Remington Fieldmaster – Model 572” on the receiver, this rifle features a blued finish paired with a walnut stock upgraded with checkered grip panels at the wrist and matching checkering on the forearm. The wood shows attractive grain and a rich tone, with light handling marks consistent with careful ownership.
This example is equipped with a mounted Simmons scope, offering enhanced target acquisition while maintaining the rifle’s traditional silhouette. The barrel measures approximately 23 inches (see tape measure photos), and the rifle presents cleanly with strong overall finish.
The 572 Fieldmaster is known for its smooth pump action and ability to cycle .22 Short, Long, and Long Rifle cartridges (buyer should confirm chamber markings). Since its introduction in 1955, the 572 has earned a reputation for reliability, balance, and versatility in both field and range settings.
With its upgraded checkered stock, classic blued steel, and scope setup, this Fieldmaster offers both nostalgic appeal and practical usability.
A timeless American rimfire — smooth, dependable, and ready for its next owner.
