A small gallery tag hangs from the wire, suggesting this piece was once professionally exhibited. Condition is excellent with no visible damage to the frame or canvas back.
Oertel's 92 Beer wooden bottle crate from Oertel Brewing Company Incorporated of Louisville, KY. The exterior bears the classic patriotic red, white, and blue Oertel's 92 branding with stars and the cheerful tagline Cheerful Refreshment. Metal corner reinforcements keep this workhorse of a crate together after decades of use. A fantastic piece of Louisville brewing history from a brewery that operated from 1905 until 1967.
McKesson Churchill Drug Co. Pluto Mineral Water wooden shipping crate, stamped with colorful original graphics including the iconic Pluto devil figure. The crate reads Wholesale Distributors and references a Paris Exposition gold medal award. Some wear and splitting to the wood face but graphics remain bold and legible. An exceptionally rare piece of early American pharmaceutical and beverage distribution history.
Falls City Beer Tote-A-Case cardboard carrier for twelve 12 oz. cans, produced by Falls City Brewing Company of Louisville, KY. The carrier features the classic red and white Falls City script logo with wheat sheaf graphics on all sides. The Mengel Company Incorporated of Louisville manufactured the box, per the certification stamp on the bottom. Shows honest age wear with some tears but retains remarkable graphic integrity for a cardboard piece of this era.
Vintage Falls City Beer Tote-A-Case cardboard flat, unassembled and stamped on the reverse by The Mengel Company Incorporated Louisville with certification numbers 200 and 75. Printed upside down on the reverse with production codes 12, 27, and 42. A rare find in flat unfolded form, making it ideal for display or archival collectors who want the full graphic without assembly wear.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.
