This stunning matched pair of Gone With The Wind style hurricane lamps is the kind of find that stops people dead in their tracks at an estate sale. Each lamp features a warm a glass globe base and a matching oversized mushroom shade, both adorned with exquisitely detailed white etched floral and cherry blossom branch motifs that practically float across the glass surface. The bases sit atop ornate cast metal feet dripping with acanthus leaf scrollwork, and the mid-section boasts an equally elaborate pierced and filigree metal gallery ring that separates the globe from the shade with serious Victorian drama. Both lamps are fully electrified, lighting up in a gorgeous golden glow that showcases the etched decoration beautifully, and both appear to be in very good vintage condition with no visible chips or cracks to the glass.
