This vintage hand press citrus juicer features a cast aluminum construction mounted to a rectangular wooden base, combining functional kitchen utility with streamlined industrial styling. The juicer utilizes a manual lever-action press system designed to efficiently extract juice from oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and other citrus fruits. Its sculptural form and solid metal construction reflect the durable countertop appliances commonly found in mid-20th century kitchens, diners, and soda fountain settings.
The upper press cup and curved lever arm operate through downward hand pressure, forcing juice through the integrated spout area while separating pulp and rind during use. The cast aluminum body retains a naturally aged surface with an attractive utilitarian appearance, while the wooden platform base provides stability and display appeal. The overall design emphasizes both practicality and compact countertop use.
This example displays a clean industrial profile suitable for farmhouse, retro kitchen, or vintage bar décor alongside functional culinary collections. The juicer measures approximately 11.5 inches long, 7 inches wide, and 11 inches tall as pictured. A classic example of vintage manual kitchenware with strong decorative and functional appeal.
