Description

This 4-piece lot includes two sterling silver weighted candlestick holders and two matching sterling silver weighted salt and pepper shakers. The bases are hallmarked by premier American silversmiths, including "Mayflower Sterling Weighted" on the larger candlestick and a hand logo with "Duchin Creation Sterling Weighted" on the shakers. Produced in the United States during the mid-20th century (circa 1940s–1960s), these traditional table accessories highlight classic American silversmithing techniques.

The two candle holders feature flared candle sockets resting on stepped pedestal bases, with one holder embellished with a gadrooned rope-twist border along the bottom rim. The salt and pepper shakers feature urn-style tapered bodies topped with removable perforated dome caps, designed with weighted composite interior cores for added stability on the dining table.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
