Description

This large celadon green Lenox porcelain bowl is an absolute showstopper, sculpted to mimic the dramatic, ruffled petals of a giant sea anemone or tropical flower in full bloom. The rich sage-green glaze catches the light beautifully from every angle, and the deeply textured, flared rim gives it an organic, free-spirited energy that works equally well as a centerpiece or a planter. The base bears the classic teal Lenox wreath-and-L backstamp reading LENOX MADE IN U.S.A., placing it firmly in the mid-to-late 20th century American porcelain tradition. Condition is very good with minor surface wear consistent with age. The second piece in this lovely lot is a blush pink Lenox porcelain shell dish, delicately shaped to replicate the graceful curves of a clam or oyster shell complete with a charming miniature spiral shell accent at one end. The interior is smooth and glossy with that signature warm ivory-pink Lenox tone, while the exterior features beautifully detailed rippled shell textures. It too carries the authentic teal Lenox wreath backstamp marked MADE IN U.S.A., confirming its American heritage. This petite dish is perfect for jewelry, trinkets, or simply displayed as the refined coastal accent it was born to be.
