This magnificent Nordstrikk cardigan hails from 6035 Fiskarstrand, Norway, and it wears its heritage proudly on every stitch. The cream wool ground is blanketed in a rich navy folk-art pattern featuring reindeer motifs, bold acanthus-scroll medallions, and a fiery band of crimson and forest green geometric detail at the yoke and cuffs. Closure is handled by a pair of substantial pewter-toned Viking-style spiral clasp hooks that look like they were lifted straight off a Norse longship. Both interior and exterior Nordstrikk labels are intact and clean, the knit is tight and excellent throughout, and the oversized silhouette gives this piece a luxuriously cozy, throw-it-on-and-conquer-winter energy.
