Description

This classic twin-size daybed features an oak-finish wood frame with paneled ends, rounded corner posts, and decorative brass finials. The gently curved side rails and slatted back provide both structure and a traditional profile suitable for use as a sofa-style seating piece or bed. The frame accommodates a standard twin mattress and includes a coordinating pop-up trundle unit beneath. As shown, the overall footprint is consistent with a standard twin configuration, (Daybed Frame ): 80 inches long x 39 1/2 inches deep x 36 1/2 inches tall to the finials.

The lower unit is a Leggett & Platt manufactured “Pop-Up” trundle system, as indicated by the original inspection tag. The metal frame features a spring-supported deck and rolling casters for easy extension from beneath the daybed. When raised, the trundle lifts to align with the height of the upper mattress, effectively creating a larger sleeping surface when used in tandem.

The oak-finish wood components display vertical panel detailing on the ends and horizontal slats along the back rail. The brass ball finials add a traditional accent and visually anchor the upper corners. The trundle mechanism is constructed of black-finished steel with integrated springs and cross supports designed for stability and mattress support.

This configuration offers versatile functionality, serving as a single twin bed, a guest-ready dual sleeping arrangement, or a seating piece in a guest room, office, or multipurpose space. The inclusion of the Leggett & Platt pop-up system enhances flexibility without altering the classic wood frame design.

Terms and Conditions

1. All items are sold where is, as is.

2. Once payment is completed for item(s) won, the ability to schedule a pick-up time will become available. Scheduling a pick-up time is required.

3. There will be a $20 fee assessed per item not picked up at that time that will be collected prior to bidding again at our auctions. Unlike retail, we do not have the option to store your item. If the item is larger than a standard suitcase (22" x 14" x 10"), we will charge $50 to the card on file per item to move the item.

4. Please plan accordingly as items not picked up are considered "abandoned". Do not bid if you cant pick up this day.

5. You are responsible for ensuring you collect all items at pickup.

6. Legacy uses "Popcorn" or "Extended" bidding. This means if a bid comes in at the last second, it is extended 3 minutes. This is like a live auctioneer saying, "going once" to ensure all bids are exhausted prior to closing.

7. We charge a 12% flat buyers premium on all items.

8. We charge KY State Tax with the exception of vehicles which is collected at the DMV.

9. You must bring help to pickup any items. We can recommend movers upon request. Also, please bring tools for items that require disassembly.
