Description
Colt Combat Commander Series 70 – 9mm Semi-Automatic Pistol – Nickel Finish – Soft Case
Up for auction is a Colt Combat Commander Series 70 semi-automatic pistol chambered in 9mm, featuring a desirable nickel finish and included soft case. The Combat Commander Series 70 combines Colt’s legendary 1911 design with a lighter Commander-length slide, making it a highly sought-after pistol among collectors and shooters alike.
Built on the classic 1911 platform, this pistol offers a single-action trigger, excellent ergonomics, and Colt’s renowned fit and finish from the Series 70 era. Chambered in 9mm, it provides mild recoil and excellent shootability while retaining the crisp trigger pull that 1911s are famous for.
The nickel finish adds both visual appeal and corrosion resistance, while the Commander-length configuration delivers a balance of accuracy and handling. Whether intended for range use, display, or as part of a Colt collection, this Combat Commander is a standout example.
