Description

A striking rectangular lidded ceramic box with a sculptural, undulating rim that doubles as a lid with its own wavy edge. The exterior showcases a dramatic matte-to-gloss green-teal glaze with iridescent shifts and visible crackle lines suggesting atmospheric or wood firing. The interior is unglazed stoneware with a textile impression visible on the inner walls, a hallmark of slab-built construction. A bold, confident piece with serious shelf presence.

A matched pair of handthrown stoneware yunomi-style cups glazed in a rich tenmoku-adjacent dark brown with olive-green highlights and drip-line decorative texturing on the exterior. The bottoms of both cups feature a small impressed potter's seal mark, confirming authentic studio origin. Interior surfaces show classic throwing rings and a deep, glossy dark glaze pool. These cups beg to be held with both hands over something hot and contemplative.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
