Description

This vintage mid-century modern coffee table was manufactured by Cosco (Hamilton Cosco, Inc.) of Columbus, Indiana. The rectangular tabletop features a durable faux walnut wood-grain laminate finish, offering the classic warm aesthetic of mid-century American living room furniture with easy-to-clean durability. The tabletop is supported by four splayed round tubular metal legs in a bronze/gold-tone finish, each fitted with protective glides.

The underside retains a partial original manufacturer paper label reading "COSCO" and "COLUMBUS, IND.". Designed during the post-war boom of functional steel and laminate home furnishings, Cosco pieces like this coffee table are recognized for their clean lines, light weight, and mid-century retro design.
