    Two vibrant barrel-shaped clutches by Star of Siam, crafted in pure silk and made in England, feature bold multicolor stripe patterns in teal-lime-blue and purple-pink-olive colorways. Each rolls shut with a domed gold filigree button closure and is lined in coordinating silk fabric with a loop closure at the top -- these are the kind of bags that make a little black dress irrelevant. Both are in excellent vintage condition with only minor interior wear to the lining on the green example.

    The third piece is a gold-tone metal Evans minaudiere, a fully self-contained evening universe in a rectangular hinged case. Inside you will find a built-in mirror, a removable compact with velour powder puff, a comb, a small coin purse, and a hook for hanging -- all suspended from a chunky gold rope chain. The engine-turned crosshatch exterior gives it that unmistakable mid-century American glamour, and the original Evans-branded pink satin pouch is still present.
