Description

This stately Link-Taylor 'Treasure House' dresser is the real deal -- solid cherry through and through, not a veneer in sight, and the warm reddish patina proves it. The nine-drawer configuration features three smaller top drawers flanked above six deep full-width drawers below, all dressed with ornate brass bail-pull hardware in a classic Chippendale style. Dimensions read approximately 56 inches wide, 34 inches tall at the case, and 20 inches deep, with the matching solid cherry framed mirror adding another 33 inches of height. The back panel shows typical age-appropriate wear, and the top surface has minor surface dust and light wear consistent with a well-loved life, but the bones -- and the brand -- are absolutely impeccable. Link-Taylor of Lexington, North Carolina was celebrated for old-world craftsmanship and solid hardwood construction, and this piece is a textbook example of why collectors still hunt their pieces down decades later.
