This is a genuine vintage Gerber Legendary Blades dagger, marked 'Gerber Portland Ore. USA' on the ricasso alongside the classic Gerber knight-and-torch logo, with serial number 027148 stamped on the guard. The double-edged blade shows honest age with surface patina and light rust, while the handle is wrapped in distinctive red cord with a braided lanyard and fringe knot that gives this piece serious character and flair. The cast metal guard and pommel retain their original dark textured finish, and the knife comes complete with its original brown leather belt sheath stamped 'Gerber Portland, Or. 97223' on the steel belt clip.
