This bold, fire-engine-red fiberglass clamshell cabinet features a hinged two-piece body trimmed in cream canvas piping, an open neck cutout at the top so your head stays cool while your body sweats it out, an adjustable interior seat with chrome support rails, a cast metal steam generating tray at the base, and original rear caster wheels for mobility. The original black-and-gold instruction label is intact and legible, directing users to pour approximately one quart of water into the steam unit, set the heat regulator to 300 degrees, and drape a towel around the neck opening -- gloriously analog wellness at its finest. Condition is as-found vintage: the exterior fiberglass shell retains strong gloss with age-appropriate surface scratches, crazing, and two areas of fiberglass chip damage near the front label zone, while the interior shows mineral deposits and surface wear consistent with actual use; the canvas door gasket seal shows age but remains present throughout.
