Description
The Hitachi NT50AE2 is a pneumatic 18-gauge brad nailer designed for precision finish work including trim installation, cabinetry, paneling, and light woodworking assembly. This model drives 18-gauge brad nails ranging from approximately 5/8 inch to 2 inches in length and operates on standard compressed air systems. The tool is marked NT50AE2(S) and manufactured by Hitachi Koki. The housing features a lightweight aluminum body with an over-molded rubber grip designed to improve handling and control during repetitive fastening tasks.
This nailer incorporates a selective actuation system that allows the operator to switch between sequential firing and contact (bump) firing modes. The magazine is designed for side loading of standard 18-gauge brad strips and includes a viewing window for monitoring fastener levels. A depth-of-drive adjustment mechanism allows the user to fine-tune nail countersink depth without tools. The nailer operates within a recommended air pressure range of approximately 70–120 PSI and connects to a standard pneumatic quick-connect fitting.
The tool is accompanied by the original molded Hitachi carrying case along with the instruction manual and warranty documentation shown in the photographs. Based on the images provided, the nailer appears to be in unused or near-new condition with minimal signs of wear and no visible residue typical of regular jobsite use. Buyers should review the photographs for details regarding condition and included components.
