Description

This delightful vintage stoneware crock jar is a love letter to the farmhouse kitchen, standing approximately 10 inches tall with its fitted lid and sporting a cream salt-glazed finish that only gets better with age. The front face features a bold, freely brushed bouquet of pink and red blossoms with gold centers and sweeping dark green leaves, applied with the kind of confident brushwork that says an artist was having a very good day. Ear-style handles flank the sides, a distressed red band wraps the base like a rustic accent stripe, and the unglazed flat bottom tells you this is the real deal from a working pottery tradition. The dark-glazed interior and well-fitted lid make this crock as functional as it is gorgeous, ready to hold utensils, dried flowers, or your secret stash of anything worth hiding.
