The Asahi Pentax KX is one of the most beloved mechanical 35mm SLR cameras ever produced, introduced in 1975 as part of the legendary K-mount system lineup. This example presents in solid cosmetic condition with the signature silver and black body, original leather ever-ready case, and a black nylon neck strap still attached. The camera mounts a lens with aperture markings visible from f/1.2 through f/22 and a close-focus distance of 0.45m, indicating a fast standard prime in the Pentax K-mount. Built entirely mechanical with no battery dependency for the shutter, this is a tank that will outlast most modern gear.

The Kiron 28-70mm f/3.5 zoom lens rounds out this kit beautifully, offering a versatile wide-to-short-telephoto range that was considered a premium third-party option in its day.
