    US Naval Training Center Great Lakes ILL Company 287 1948 Yearbook: A hardcover navy blue yearbook published by Albert Love Enterprises, printed and bound by Foote and Davies Inc of Atlanta Georgia, chronicling Company 287 at the United States Naval Training Center in Great Lakes Illinois dated 1948. The cover features a color photograph of sailors carrying flags and the interior is in excellent readable condition for its age. A rare piece of postwar naval history that any collector would be proud to display.

    Cartoons for Fighters Armed Services Edition Sgt Frank Brandt 1945: A rare Armed Services Edition paperback published by Editions for the Armed Services Inc, a nonprofit established by the Council on Books in Wartime, printed by The Infantry Journal of Washington DC in 1945. Edited by Sgt Frank Brandt of Yank the Army Newspaper, this compact horizontal-format booklet contains over 350 cartoons and gags drawn for servicemen covering Navy etiquette, booby traps, and the Gas Obstacle Course with contributions from Milt Caniff and Walt Disney. The back cover promotes War Bonds and Stamps and the condition is well-worn but fully intact and readable, a genuine piece of wartime morale history.

    A Guide Book to the US Army by Fletcher Pratt Whitman Publishing No 740: Published by Whitman Publishing Company of Racine Wisconsin, No 740, this revised edition was prepared by Fletcher Pratt with the assistance of Capt Robert H Rankin USMC and features 53 action pictures. The interior spread shows Special Service Uniforms including Ski Troops, Arctic, Snowshoe Troops, and Tropical variants with color illustrations. Copyrighted 1942 and 1943, this booklet is worn and heavily used, making it an authentically handled wartime survivor.
