Description

*ITEM LOCATED IN BASEMENT WITH WIDE STAIRS*

Straight out of Hickory, North Carolina, this Hancock and Moore three-seat sofa is the real deal -- top-grain leather in a rich oxblood burgundy that means serious business. The frame is dressed to impress with double rows of antique brass nailhead trim running along the base and rolled arms, sitting atop bun feet that give it that classic English club look. The back and arms are wrapped in smooth leather while the three seat cushions are upholstered in a coordinating burgundy chenille fabric, a signature Hancock and Moore mixed-media touch that adds texture and comfort. Condition is consistent with age and use -- the leather back cushions show some creasing and deflation, the seat cushions have visible wear and soiling, and the base leather remains largely intact with good color -- but the bones on this sofa are absolutely solid, as you would expect from one of America's most respected furniture makers.
