This is a genuinely gorgeous Hickory Chair Company camelback sofa straight out of the golden age of American fine furniture, bearing the classic label from Hickory, N.C. with their motto Fine Furniture Since 1911. The frame features quintessential Chippendale-style tapered mahogany legs and dramatically scrolled arms that sweep outward with real theatrical confidence, all riding on a graceful serpentine camelback silhouette that would make Thomas Chippendale himself nod approvingly. The upholstery is a cream and sage green damask brocade with a repeating medallion and floral stripe pattern in excellent vintage condition, with the underside dust cover still intact in a soft seafoam green. Measurements from the photos indicate approximately 84 inches in length, 36 inches in height at the back, and roughly 30 inches in seat depth, making this a full-sized statement sofa ready to anchor a formal living room, parlor, or grand entrance hall.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
