Higgins ladies step-through cruiser bicycle, the iconic Sears house brand that defined American neighborhood riding from the late 1940s through the 1950s, dressed in a striking two-tone navy and sky blue paint scheme that still turns heads despite decades of honest wear. The tank badge proudly displays the classic J.C. Higgins script logo with the bold H emblem, and the bike retains a remarkable collection of original components including a sprung brown leather saddle with coil suspension, a full chain guard, front headlight housing, rear red reflector taillight, front wire basket with mounting rack, rear luggage carrier with a white waffle-pattern metal platform, and period-correct swept-back handlebars with a Peerless-style stem clamp. 8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
