Step back in time with this rare, turn-of-the-century Dennison’s Jewelry Cleaning Outfit, custom-branded for historic retailer Rodgers & Krull Jewelers of Louisville, Kentucky. Dating to the early 1900s–1910s, this vintage salesman/jeweler kit comes housed in a handsome oak hardwood box crafted with classic finger-jointed corners and vintage brass hardware. The inside of the lid retains its original Art Nouveau paper label with gorgeous typography, complete with step-by-step instructions for cleaning fine jewelry.

This remarkably complete survivor features its original removable metal/brass organizer tray, which holds a vintage block of jewelry cleaning soap and a natural bristle detail brush. Beneath the tray lies the original boxwood sawdust—historically used by jewelers to safely dry and buff precious metals and gemstones after washing without leaving water spots.

Measuring approximately 6.  inches long, 3 inches wide, and 2 inches tall, this piece is in wonderful antique condition, showing authentic patina, age-appropriate surface wear, and historic character.
