Kenner's New Spirograph (circa 1967) is the classic that started it all, arriving in its original red box with 18 transparent plastic wheels, 2 rings, 2 racks, 4 ballpoint pens in red, blue, green, and black, the original drawing baseboard, pattern booklet, and instruction sheet. The tray shows honest signs of use with some pen marks on the baseboard, but the gears and wheels appear largely intact and ready to roll. A Spirograph Refill Kit and pattern guide sheet are also included as bonus accessories with this set, adding even more creative fuel to the fire. Winner of the Educational Toy of the Year Award, Design of the Month, and the Artistic Toy Oscar Paris, this is a certified hall-of-famer.

Kenner's New Super Spirograph (circa 1969) is the big brother that blew the original out of the water, featuring 94 transparent plastic parts including 18 wheels, 2 rings, 2 racks, 18 curved ring squares, 8 straight bars, a Y piece, 6 end pieces, super squares, special pins, 4 ballpoint pens, a fitted storage tray, drawing paper, and a baseboard. The oversized box interior lid doubles as a Super Spirograph Pattern Guide showing half-size illustrations of all basic patterns, making it a gorgeous display piece in its own right. The set appears remarkably complete with all pieces resting neatly in their molded red tray, and the box shows appropriate vintage wear consistent with its age. This is the set that let kids snap parts together into squares, triangles, ovals, and all-curve arrangements for patterns that went far beyond anything the original could dream up.
