Description

First up is a pristine white bisque porcelain angel girl with flowing robes, delicate embossed floral detailing, and curled pigtails, her hands folded in sweet prayer. She sits on a plain white base and appears unmarked on the bottom, suggesting a mid-century American or European manufacturer. Condition is excellent with no chips or cracks visible.

The second bisque angel is her close cousin, also dressed in an ornate embossed white robe but sporting a braided ponytail and cradling a small floral spray. She stands on a gold-trimmed round base, and her bottom shows a light-colored plastic insert, hinting at a music box mechanism. Both bisque angels share the same graceful old-world style and soft matte finish.

Third in the heavenly lineup is a painted ceramic angel with warm blonde hair, red lips, and rich brown-toned wings and ribbon accents throughout her robe. She cradles a small harp or lyre and has a distinctly mid-century Lefton or Enesco aesthetic. Her base reveals a wooden music box insert with screws, confirming she is a wind-up musical figurine.

Rounding out the lot is a white glazed porcelain angel with gold star accents scattered across her flowing gown and wings, playing what appears to be a tambourine. Her base also contains a wooden music box mechanism with a Fred Roberts Co. label visible, identifying her as a product of that well-known San Francisco importer. She is in very good vintage condition with bright gold detailing intact.
