Description
This is the iconic 1973 Mattel Barbie Goin' Camping Set (No. 8669), and it is an absolute time capsule of 1970s toy perfection complete with its original box. The set includes the legendary yellow and orange Breezy Buggy dune buggy with black bucket seats, a working steering wheel, dashboard decal, and a pink tow hitch, along with the fold-out pink and yellow vinyl Tent-Trailer that closes up neat and tidy for transport. Camping accessories are remarkably well-represented and include the black campfire base with orange grill, orange frying pan, two cooking pots with handles, a coffee pot with lid, a pink spoon, a folding camp stool with yellow vinyl seat, an orange picnic table, and a pink Barbie pennant on its antenna wire. The original box shows honest wear consistent with 50-plus years of age including some corner damage and surface scuffing, but the box art graphics remain vivid and gorgeous, the vinyl tent retains strong color with only light fading, and the Breezy Buggy body is solid and crack-free with most original decals present though unapplied decal sheets are included separately.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.
6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
