The underside bears the official label reading Vitra Design Museum, Eames House Bird, copyright Eames Office, confirming its authenticity as a genuine licensed piece. The bird shows minor wear including a small chip visible at the tail end and light scuffing consistent with display use, but retains its striking sculptural presence from every angle. Originally inspired by a wooden decoy bird Charles and Ray Eames kept in their iconic Pacific Palisades home, this piece is as much art history as it is home decor.
