This handsome vintage Dixie Furniture bowfront dresser with attached mirror is a standout example of American Federal Hepplewhite revival styling, featuring a gracefully curved bow front, reeded corner pilasters, and beautifully carved oval rosette medallions flanking the top drawer row. The rich mahogany veneer exterior houses six drawers in total, three small upper drawers including a center locking drawer with shield escutcheon, plus four graduated full-width lower drawers fitted with original oval brass bail pulls. Secondary wood construction features solid oak drawer boxes with clean, tight dovetail joinery and the Dixie brand name burned into the drawer bottom, placing manufacture firmly in the mid-20th century American furniture tradition. The top surface shows honest wear including water rings, light scratches, and some finish loss consistent with age and use, while the large flat-framed mirror retains its original glass with only minor foxing, making this a fully functional and genuinely characterful piece ready for a bedroom or a refresh.
