Description

This vintage stoneware coffee and tea accessory set was created by celebrated American pottery maker M.A. Hadley Pottery (Mary Alice Hadley) in Louisville, Kentucky. The set features M.A. Hadley's iconic folk-art stylized rooster motif painted in rich tones of sage green and earthy brown, framed by soft green rim accents on a textured grayish-cream stoneware body. The undersides are marked with hand-painted "M.A. Hadley" script signatures in brown glaze. Mid-century to late 20th-century studio art production is characteristic of these hand-painted folk pottery designs.

The collection includes a cream and sugar set with a fitted kidney-shaped display/under-plate tray, along with two matching handled coffee mugs. The creamer pitcher features a single handle and pouring spout, while the sugar bowl includes a removable fitted lid. The custom curved base tray holds both the creamer and sugar bowl neatly in place while showcasing a rooster illustration on its surface.

The set consists of a total item count of 5 pieces: two mugs, one creamer, one lidded sugar bowl, and one tray. The individual measurements based on provided photo references are as follows:

• 2 Coffee Mugs: 4 inches in height by 3.5 inches in rim diameter
• 1 Creamer Pitcher: 3.5 inches in height
• 1 Lidded Sugar Bowl: 4.25 inches in height
• 1 Under-Tray: 8.5 inches in length by 5.5 inches in width
