Description

This extraordinary collection from The Bicentennial Council of the Thirteen Original States presents a full run of Limited Edition Proof Sterling Silver commemorative ingots, each individually mounted on specially postmarked cachets from historic locations including Boston MA, London EC1, Canada, Princeton NJ, and Philadelphia PA. Every ingot features a beautifully detailed bas-relief scene depicting pivotal moments from the American Revolution, rendered in gleaming sterling silver and set against a patriotic red, white, and blue display mount. The entire collection is housed in a magnificent navy blue hardcover binder with gold spine lettering reading The Official Bicentennial Ingots, Issued by The Bicentennial Council of the Thirteen Original States, and an embossed logo on the front cover. A scale photograph shows one cacheted ingot piece weighing in at 71 grams, giving you a real sense of the substantial silver content across this impressive lot, making this a must-have for serious American history collectors and silver enthusiasts alike.
