Description
Big bore authority meets factory presentation. This Smith & Wesson Model 48.4 Blued .22 revolver arrives in its original wood presentation case with paperwork, manuals, and factory literature — the kind of complete package collectors love to see.
Marked “Made in U.S.A. – Smith & Wesson – Springfield, Mass.” and clearly stamped “..22” on the barrel, this classic N-frame delivers that unmistakable S&W presence. The bright stainless finish shows strong shine with light, honest handling marks visible in close-ups. The checkered wood grips with gold S&W medallions provide warmth against the steel and balance the revolver’s substantial frame beautifully.
The long barrel profile, full underlug, and adjustable sights give it that iconic silhouette made famous by hunters, competitors, and a certain era of American cinema. The cylinder face and forcing cone areas are shown clearly in the photos, and the revolver appears well cared for overall. Included are the factory manual, centerfire ammunition guide, safety materials, and Model 48.4 paperwork — all resting inside the fitted display case.
Whether you’re a serious Smith & Wesson collector, a .22 enthusiast, or someone who appreciates classic American revolver craftsmanship, this boxed Model 629 checks all the right boxes. Add it to your collection and let this stainless legend do what it was built to do — command attention.
