Description

First up is the Bose Acoustimass 7 Home Theatre Speaker System, serial number AM-70AM 182056, a genuine 5.1-capable powerhouse engineered in the USA and assembled in Mexico. This passive subwoofer module handles Left, Center, and Right channels at 8 ohms, rated 10-200W per channel, and comes paired with three sets of iconic double-cube satellite speakers - the kind of tiny cubes that punched way above their weight in every living room of the 1990s. The cube speakers show cosmetic wear including scratches, scuffs, velcro residue, and paint loss on the back panels, while the sub module itself presents well with typical age-related dust. All spring-clip speaker terminals are present and functional in appearance. The second system is the Bose Acoustimass 3 Series III Speaker System, serial number AM3B0YE153610, the legendary stereo two-channel compact system copyrighted 1993 and assembled in Ireland. This slender passive bass module is rated 10-100W per channel at 4-8 ohms with an IEC rating of 50W per channel, and it pairs with one set of Bose double-cube satellite speakers. The bass module is in solid cosmetic shape with minor surface marks, and the rear spring-clip terminal panel shows some cracking in the plastic surround but remains intact. A fantastic grab for the vintage Bose collector or the home audio enthusiast building out a retro setup.
