A stunning amber horn-effect celluloid hand mirror featuring a scalloped frame with a beveled circular glass mirror on the front and a smooth matte backing. The warm caramel tones give this piece an elegant, almost translucent glow, and despite its age the frame remains structurally sound with only minor foxing to the mirror backing. A true Art Deco dressing table survivor with undeniable charm.

A striking tortoiseshell-effect celluloid hand mirror with bold brown and amber swirling patterning across its scalloped frame and handle. The beveled glass mirror sits cleanly within a silver-toned metal bezel, and the reverse shows the dramatic streaked dark patterning characteristic of quality celluloid work from the early twentieth century. Some foxing and age spots to the mirror backing only add to the authentic antique character of this wonderful vanity piece.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
