This is the genuine article, knife collectors -- the 1989 Case XX George Washington Commemorative Knife, model CCH1050SS, one of only 3,000 exquisitely crafted examples ever produced. The stainless Tru-Sharp surgical steel blade is etched in bold red with George Washington on horseback surrounded by banners reading '200th Anniversary, First President of The United States,' while the bolster is engraved with the iconic Case long-tail C logo and serial number 1827. The handle is handsome natural cherry wood -- lighter when new, darkening to a rich warm tone with age -- fitted with polished nickel silver bolsters and a gold-tone oval Case shield inlay. The entire set comes presented in the original black leatherette display case lined in royal blue velvet with a gold-printed satin lid panel, complete with the original Certificate of Authenticity and cherry wood fact card -- essentially everything a serious collector could dream of finding intact after 35 years.

4. ABANDONED ITEMS: Items not picked up without prior Auctioneer approval may be considered abandoned and resold, donated, or disposed of without refund.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
