Description

This is one seriously charming mid-century swag pendant lamp that knows exactly what it is and owns every inch of it. The ceramic vase body is finished in a soft blush-cream glaze with hand-applied gold accent lines forming elegant arched panels, topped by an ornate cast brass gallery fitting and a coordinating brass finial with ball pull chain at the bottom. The lamp hangs from a generous length of antique brass link chain that swags across the ceiling via two ceiling hooks, and the whole setup is topped off with a large empire-style linen shade in a warm cream tone that bathes the room in gorgeous golden light when lit. Condition is very good overall with minor patina on the brass hardware consistent with age and use, and the shade shows a slight ghost ring visible in certain lighting but nothing that detracts from the overall presence of this statement piece.
