Some bottles practically lean back in a rocking chair and tell stories. This vintage Double Springs Rare Old Sippin’ Whiskey is one of them. Distilled from a bourbon mash and bottled by Double Springs Distillers of Owensboro, Kentucky, this distinctive bottle features the eye-catching “Rare Old” label and a built-in pourer cap advertising whiskey aged 15 years in reused barrels.
The rustic branding, aged-paper label design, and oversized bottle presentation give it the unmistakable charm of a bygone Kentucky whiskey era. The label proudly describes it as a “Sippin’ Whiskey,” a term that immediately conjures images of front porches, card games, and conversations that lasted long after sunset.
Collectors of vintage Kentucky whiskey bottles will appreciate the built-in pourer, original labeling, and regional Owensboro connection. The substantial bottle size and unique branding make it a standout display piece among bourbon and whiskey memorabilia.
Whether you’re building a collection of vintage Kentucky spirits, decorating a home bar, or simply appreciate uncommon whiskey history, this Rare Old bottle lives up to its name. Pull up a chair and place your bid before another collector beats you to it.
