Description

This handsome two-piece set features a large round carved monkeypod wood bowl paired with a wide-rimmed lazy Susan, both adorned with bold, deeply incised geometric and foliate relief carvings wrapping the exterior bands. The bowl sits snugly atop the plate, and when separated you can appreciate the rich warm brown tones and striking natural grain of genuine monkeypod wood - a tropical hardwood prized for its beauty and density. The underside of the plate carries two original labels: a gold label from The MonkeyPod Tree Shops on North Nimitz Highway in Honolulu, Hawaii, certifying it as Genuine MonkeyPod, and a small red label reading Made in Philippines. Both pieces show honest age-appropriate wear including minor surface marks and a small crack on the bowl base, but remain structurally solid and display beautifully as a decorative set.

3. MISSED PICKUPS: Failure to pick up during the designated pickup period will result in a $20 fee per item. Additional labor, transportation, storage, delivery, disposal, or handling fees may apply.

4. ABANDONED ITEMS: Items not picked up without prior Auctioneer approval may be considered abandoned and resold, donated, or disposed of without refund.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

7. SHIPPING & DELIVERY: Available on select items for an additional fee. See auction details.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
