Description

This cheerful yellow bowl features bold raised pansy blossoms in purple and green against a creamy matte glaze with a scalloped, free-form rim that gives it serious Art Nouveau flair. The interior shows crazing, scratching, and some staining consistent with age and use, and the exterior reveals a visible hairline crack running vertically down the body. The unglazed base displays an incised Roseville mark along with a hand-written price tag stub, and the bowl measures approximately 8 inches across. A great display piece for the Roseville collector who appreciates honest patina over polished perfection.

This round, squat double-handled bowl from Roseville's beloved Poppy pattern features a gorgeous relief-molded poppy bloom and jagged leaf in warm peach, green, and golden yellow tones against a matte terracotta-blush ground. The piece retains its original silver foil Roseville Pottery diamond label, a true collector trophy, and is marked on the base in the classic Roseville script with a hand-written dealer notation. Measuring approximately 5 inches across, the interior and exterior show light crazing typical of the era, and overall condition appears very good with no chips or cracks noted.
