Description

This handsome solid oak dining set was manufactured in July 1997 (model 8095, as stamped on the underside) and has been keeping families fed and gathered ever since. The oval pedestal table features a double-column turned base with a graceful tri-foot platform, a built-in self-storing leaf extension system, and a warm honey-oak finish that shows the beautiful cathedral grain oak is famous for. Six matching Windsor-style arrow-back side chairs accompany the table, each with a solid saddle seat, splayed legs with brass glide feet, and that same rich oak tone that ties the whole set together. The tabletop shows light surface wear and haze consistent with nearly three decades of honest use, but the bones are excellent and a light refinish would bring this set back to showroom glory.

4. ABANDONED ITEMS: Items not picked up without prior Auctioneer approval may be considered abandoned and resold, donated, or disposed of without refund.

5. WE ARE NOT MOVERS: Bring adequate help, tools, packing materials, and transportation. Loading assistance may be available for an additional fee.

6. BUYER’S PREMIUM & TAX: A 12% Buyer’s Premium and applicable sales tax will be added to all purchases.

8. EXTENDED BIDDING: Bids placed near closing automatically extend the lot by 3 minutes until bidding stops.
