This endearing figurine depicts a pudgy toddler seated cross-legged, clutching a toy car with laser focus and the kind of concentration only a child with a new toy can muster. Cast in a warm bisque-finish resin, the piece displays wonderful texture and detail throughout the clothing and hair. The base is felt-lined and bears the Austin Productions Inc markings consistent with their Bright Eyes collection. A timeless snapshot of boyhood that looks right at home on a bookshelf or display cabinet.

This petite and utterly charming figurine shows a young child perched on a small block, leaning in nose-to-nose with an eager puppy in a moment of pure sweetness. The bisque-tone finish gives it the look of unglazed stoneware, and the sculpting captures the soft roundness of toddler proportions beautifully. Marked on the base with Austin Prod Inc 1987 and the Bright Eyes series name alongside sculptor Dee Crowley's signature. The smallest of the three pieces, it punches well above its weight in personality.

The showstopper of this trio features a round-faced child sprawled lovingly across the back of a large, shaggy dog, arms wrapped around the animal in a full-body hug of unconditional affection. The long fur of the dog is rendered in flowing textural strokes that contrast beautifully with the smooth softness of the child's face and hands. The underside is marked Bright Eyes 1984 copyright Austin Productions Inc, with a secondary Dee Crowley signature inscribed into the piece. Velvet-lined base and generous scale make this the anchor piece of any Bright Eyes display.
