Description

This gorgeous matched pair of crochet afghans is a love letter to the golden age of handcraft, featuring an intricate open-lattice granny square design anchored by raised floral medallion centers in two-tone dusty rose and salmon pink. The main body crochets up in a dreamy powder blue, creating a lacy, breathable weave that is as beautiful as it is lightweight, while a coordinating salmon-pink border frames each blanket in a scalloped shell-stitch edge that adds a perfect finishing flourish. The label reads Imperial Elegance, RN 85899, Made in China, with a fiber content of 45% Cotton and 55% of a second fiber, lending these throws a soft hand feel with just enough body to drape beautifully over a sofa or bed. Measuring approximately 54 inches wide and in good vintage condition with no visible major damage, this matching set would be equally at home in a shabby chic bedroom, a farmhouse living room, or folded neatly as a display piece for any textile collector.
